This is a box featuring used coloured pencils, set into resin and cut at a cross section. The lid is sealed in food safe resin and has been honed to a satin finish to resist glare and scratches.

This acacia box measures 14.75”x 7.75” x 3.75” and has ten compartments inside, which can hold tea bags, vanity items, essential oils, keepsakes or jewelry. This is the Large size tea box. Care and Packaging

The box is packaged in sustainable packaging with ribbon and a care instruction card.

Cleaning instructions: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. The flat resin lid can be cleaned with glass cleaner or alcohol. The wood and lid can be conditioned with mineral oil.

This is a handmade piece of art on natural wood, and all handmade pieces will have small cosmetic bubbles or defects in the resin, or irregularities in the wood. Check photos carefully and message us for any clarifications.

About the Repurpose Series

Kathryn’s annual series was made to celebrate Earth Day and a year’s worth of learning, repurposing the accumulated paint drips from a year in the studio.

The Repurpose mosaics are created with the leftover drips of paint and strips of canvas from Kathryn’s artwork. Each one is unique, and uses up materials that would otherwise be wasted.
