About This Mosaic
Title: “Sunflowers”
I have good memories of these cheerful plants growing on farms in the BC interior. The sunflower centers are made with beads from a thrift store necklace.
This is a recycled glass and pottery debris mosaic, made on a cradled birch canvas panel. It measures 24” x 24”, and has painted black edges with a 1.5” cradle depth. The glass and pottery pieces are finished with black mosaic grout, and sealed. The mosaic weighs approximately 8 lbs and needs to be attached safely to the wall.
This mosaic ships unframed, ready to hang with hardware attached. The back has been stamped by Kathryn’s custom aspen leaf stamp. This is an original piece of art made with repurposed and found items, so there may be flaws and marks on the back; check pictures carefully and message us if you have any questions.
Partial proceeds from the sale of this series will benefit Doctors Without Borders, a nonprofit that brings medical care to the most vulnerable around the world.
