About the Northern Waters Series

Kathryn’s Northern Waters series celebrates her love of the Pacific ocean, in her home in the islands of British Columbia. Read about the first Northern Waters series here.

About This Piece

This is a one of a kind wave painting in resin on a solid rectangular wood tray. Kathryn made this ocean pattern to look like the wake from the ferry.

The acacia tray measures 12.75” x 16.5” by approximately 2.5” high on the outside dimensions, with two metal handles - see the example photos for scale.

The tray is packaged with ribbon and a care instruction card. It has been stamped on the back with the artist's custom wood burning brand.

Cleaning instructions: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. The flat resin tray top can be cleaned with glass cleaner or alcohol. The wood can be conditioned with mineral oil.

The tray has been finished with food safe resin, and can be used as a serving tray or decorative tray. It’s not recommended for hot foods, sharp tools, prolonged outdoor use or immersion in water.

This is a handmade piece of art, and all handmade pieces will have small flaws, bubbles or cosmetic defects in the resin, or irregularities in the wood. Check photos carefully and message us for any clarifications.
