About this Series

The first series made in Kathryn’s new studio in British Columbia, the octopus series celebrates one of her favourite animals, the Giant Pacific Octopus.

About this Piece

This is a mixed media painting made with metal leaf and reclaimed fence boards and pallets. This is Kathryn’s first attempt at building her own panels, and the result is very “rustic” and eye catching. This piece has mixed metal leaf with predominantly silver ones.

This one of a kind original measures approximately 28” x 28” It has been stamped on the back by the artist’s custom aspen leaf stamp.  

This painting is unframed, but hanging hardware is attached and the edges are finished to match (see photos) so you can hang it as is, or add a frame that suits your decor.
