About the Repurpose Series

This series was made to celebrate Earth Day, repurposing the accumulated paint drips and materials from a year in the studio.

Because these pieces are decorated with recycled materials, the resin finish is not as smooth as her other work, and may have bubbles, indentations and bumps. Each mosaic piece is functional, unique and has an interesting story.

About This Piece

This piece has been decorated with old coloured pencils in a rainbow mosaic, sealed in food safe resin. The acacia tray measures 11.75" by 17.75" by approximately 1.5” high, with two cutout handles. The tray is packaged with ribbon and a care instruction card. It has been stamped on the back with the artist's custom wood burning brand.

Cleaning instructions: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. The flat resin tray top can be cleaned with glass cleaner or alcohol. The wood can be conditioned with mineral oil.

The tray has been finished with food safe resin, and can be used as a serving tray or decorative tray. Not recommended for hot foods, prolonged outdoor use or immersion in water.
