Silver Trees with Fog - 22x22 Fluid Landscape 113

Silver Trees with Fog - 22x22 Fluid Landscape 113

$695.00

This acrylic, metal and resin layered mixed media painting was inspired by winter camping in the mountains in British Columbia. This intricately layered mixed media piece was created in many stages using acrylic paints, composite silver leaf and food safe resin. There are three colors of subtle glitter in the resin and the painting has a very luminous appearance that is hard to capture in the photographs. The trees were made in three separate layers of metal leaf for a three dimensional look as the forest recedes into the fog.

This piece is finished in the same manner as my trays or as the upcycled kitchen tabletop that I use in my home every day with my 3 small children - the surface is very durable! The Art Resin surface can be cleaned easily with glass cleaner.

The wood and fiberboard panel measures approximately 22” square and 2” deep, and weighs about 8 lbs with hanging hardware attached. The piece comes unframed with finished edges and ready to hang, but you can add a frame if you prefer. Sturdy d-rings are attached on the back at all four corners and wire is attached.
